Funky Headbands

So the past few weeks I have dedicated my crafting time to making headbands and hair accessories. I absolutely love headbands and wear one almost everyday!! Here are some new cuties that I am lovin...

This one is made from layered leather pieces and a cool metal button! It is so much cooler in person, if I do say so myself!

Zipper headbands! These funky headbands are made with remnants from my zipper skirt I made for school. I have been seeing zipper things everywhere! You'd better grab on while they last!

I cannot take any credit for these adorable fabric flowers...my sister Sarah made them for my show next week. They turned out so cute!

Spring is in the Air!

So the temperature here reached the 70's last week and gave us a taste of spring before dropping to the 30's the next night, and this has got me in my spring crafting mood!

Zipper Fashion!

Last night I was a designer in a fashion show for my design class. My outfit was made out of zipper rosettes, straight zippers and zipper pulls. The skirt consists of handmade zipper rosettes and a belt made of woven zippers. The shirt was adorned with zipper pulls wired to chain and attached to the shirt. You can't see it in this picture but the shoes are fabulous! The night was a huge success thanks to my model Jamie. Hope you enjoy :)

More Feather Headbands!

Because of the high demand of the fabulous feather headbands I had previously posted, I was forced(more like excited) to make 15 new headbands for Birdie's Boutique! Here are my favorites!

Feather and Bow Headbands!!!

I love these jeweled feather headbands. They are classy and can be very dressy! I also made some bow headbands that are oh so popular. This is the first round I made this weekend and I am sure there will be more to come. These will be at Birdie's this weekend for their special sale, be sure to stop by and take a peek :)

We are members of the Who DAT nation and couldn't be prouder of our Saints! This is the first of a few of the Saints gear I have recently been making. I know a couple girls who will be wearing these on Sunday :)

It's Mardi Gras season in Louisiana again! I have had lots of bow orders these days so I thought I would get in the Mardi Gras spirit with these cuties! I will have lots more Mardi Gras garb to come,

so trade in that old jester hat you have in the closet for these beautiful bows!

Button Fleur de Lis

I think after my two months of not blogging I might win the award for the worst blogger!! I am so sorry its been so long. I have had finals and a Christmas trip to California, and design school has started for me again! I am ready to get back into the routine, and I promise I will do better!!

OK! Now to the fun stuff! A new year means new projects. Most of you who know me, know that I have a serious addiction to buttons, I am talkin' hundreds of buttons that are all color coded! This project combined my love of buttons and fleur de lis'. I painted and distressed the frame. The backing is brown burlap and the fleur de lis consists of different shades of red buttons and a brown and gold band. It turned out so cute and matches perfect with my bed room. My sisters have already comissioned me to make them one!
