It's Mardi Gras season in Louisiana again! I have had lots of bow orders these days so I thought I would get in the Mardi Gras spirit with these cuties! I will have lots more Mardi Gras garb to come,

so trade in that old jester hat you have in the closet for these beautiful bows!

Button Fleur de Lis

I think after my two months of not blogging I might win the award for the worst blogger!! I am so sorry its been so long. I have had finals and a Christmas trip to California, and design school has started for me again! I am ready to get back into the routine, and I promise I will do better!!

OK! Now to the fun stuff! A new year means new projects. Most of you who know me, know that I have a serious addiction to buttons, I am talkin' hundreds of buttons that are all color coded! This project combined my love of buttons and fleur de lis'. I painted and distressed the frame. The backing is brown burlap and the fleur de lis consists of different shades of red buttons and a brown and gold band. It turned out so cute and matches perfect with my bed room. My sisters have already comissioned me to make them one!

Wedding Flower

I am participating in an open house in Shreveport this weekend and have been making jewelry like a mad woman! Here are a few of my favorites.

Earthy Earrings

These earrings are made using porcelain and leather. Copper ear wires are used to complete this earthy look. They come in many colors including green, blue, red, orange and yellow.

Rivoli Pendants

The other day I made a couple of hand stitched rivoli pendant. They are absolutely gorgeous!

New Necklaces

This beautiful triple strand necklace is covered in pearls and swarovski crystals.

Gorgeous agate is accented with small black onyx briolettes on a leather band.

Large blue quartz gemstone and coordinating quartz combine to make this statement piece!

This earthy piece is made of crystal, onyx and a cool Jasper pendant.

Funky Bows!

Here are some new cool bows I have been working on this weekend. I found some funky green, blue, purple and pink leopard and zebra patterned ribbon! I am in love with the sparkle ones!!
